The annual Clean and Green Singapore campaign, organized by the National Environment Agency and launched by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, is aimed at inspiring Singaporeans to care for and protect the living environment by adopting an Environmentally Friendly lifestyle. Malaysia, like many other developing countries, is at a crossroad of deciding how to balance fast-growing energy needs with environmental concerns, energy security and economic development.
